The All Blacks will play Japan in Tokyo 02 November before heading on to Europe for the Air New Zealand European Tour.
Don’t miss the opportunity to visit this fantastic city with other passionate All Blacks supporters.
The All Blacks have only played Japan four times before: twice in Japan in 1987 and at the 1995 and 2011 Rugby World Cups.
This promises to be a historic match and will give All Blacks the chance to get a taste of Japan in the lead up to Rugby World Cup 2019 which will be held in Japan.
All Black captain Richie McCaw will lead the team against Japan in the first appearance on their end of year tour.
Originally McCaw, Daniel Carter and other senior players were going to bypass the November 2 test in Tokyo and assemble in Paris for the next test with France.
The Test will be played at Prince Chichibu Memorial Rugby Stadium in Tokyo, Japan’s national rugby stadium and home of the JRFU.
The All Blacks will fly to Japan to prepare for the Test match before heading onto Europe for the All Blacks annual Air New Zealand European Tour, for Test matches against France, England and Ireland.
JRFU Chairman Tatsuzo Yabe said: “It is a great pleasure to welcome the All Blacks back to Japan for a match against our national side for the first time in 26 years.
